What types of businesses are not a good fit for Coworx? 

We are not a good fit for healthcare related business that meet with patients of some sort. Or if you have a retail business that has a stream of steady customers visiting, we are probably not a good fit. If you are required to talk on the phone constantly, you would not be a good fit for our desks, but a private office would be fine.

What type of people/businesses use Coworx? 

One of the best things about a coworking environment is the diversity of users! At Coworx you will find everything from freelance graphic designers to real estate professionals. Check out the members section for more details.

What if I want to cancel my membership? When do I have to let Coworx management know I am moving out? 

Requirements for canceling your membership will vary based on your plan. If you sign up for a part-time plan, your agreement is month-to-month, so simply log in to your account and cancel at anytime. If you are a full-time member with a private office or studio desk, we typically require a 30-day written notice after you have completed your initial term.

What are the building hours? When are you open? 

The doors are unlocked Monday-Friday from 8AM to 5:30PM. Coworx is accessible after hours and on weekends to members that have a key fob.

What is the average size of a Coworx office? 

We offer a variety of office sizes ranging from approximately 7′ X 10′ to 13′ X 12′. The average size for a private office is approximately 9′ X 10′.

What about faxes and scanning? 

Yes. Each member will be assigned an account and PIN number for using the fax/scanner. There is no charge for faxes or scans.

Do you have a printer and copier? 

Yes. Each member has access to our fancy color printer/copier. You will be setup with an exclusive PIN number that allows you to use the machine. All copies/prints are billed separately. Black & White Copies/Prints – $0.07/each for 8.5 x 11, $0.14/each for 8.5 x 14 and 11 x 17. Color Copies/Prints – $0.25/each for 8.5 x 11 and $0.50/each for 8.5 x 14 and 11 x 17.

What does a Private Office at Coworx include? 

Your Coworx Private Office is fully furnished and includes a desk, chair & filing cabinet & bookshelves. Private offices also include a mailbox, 8 hours of free conference room time each month as well as a key fob for 24X7 access.

What is a Studio Desk and what does it include? 

Generous on space and wired for action, a Studio Desk is a cost-effective workspace option if you need a place to call your own, but are not quite ready for a private office. This gives you exclusive use of a studio desk and includes a mailbox, four hours of free conference room time per month and a key fob for 24X7 access to the space.

What is a Virtual Office and what does it include? 

The Virtual Office plan is a perfect fit for those that don’t quite need a full-time office. The Virtual Office plan gives you access to a workstation up to three days a week. Workstation options include a desk or private office based on availability. This plan also includes a mailbox so you can use the space for your business address. Free hi-speed Internet as well as four hours of free conference room access per month are also included.

What is a Flex Desk and what does it include? 

Our Flex Desk plan gives you access to the Coworx space two days a week and also includes two hours of free conference room time per month. Our Flex Desk plan includes free hi-speed Internet, use of the fax and scanner and access to the color printer/copier.

What kind of Internet connection do you have? 

Our basic free Internet includes a dedicated 5×5 connection with both wired and wireless access. For members requiring additional bandwidth or other network requirements, we can help with arranging individual Internet access.

How do I reserve the conference room? 

We have an online booking calendar that enables you to schedule/reserve conference rooms.

Do I get use of the conference room as part of my membership? 

Yes. Each membership plan includes a certain amount of free conference room time. If you exceed your conference room time allowance, you will be billed at the discounted member rate of $15/hour for any extra time.

Do you offer phones or receptionist service? 

No. Coworx does not offer phones or any type of receptionist service. However, our network is designed to support VoIP phones so feel free to bring your own phone and plug it in.

Should I wait until the 1st of the month to join? 

No, the day you start is the beginning of your month. No need to wait. Your credit card will simply be billed every month on whatever date you join.

Do you offer discounts for multiple members from the same company? 

Maybe. In some cases we can work with you to develop a custom office package that will meet your needs. Please contact us to discuss details.

Can I use Coworx for my business address? 

Absolutely! Some of our plans include a mailbox as part of the price. We also offer a Mailbox only plan if you just need to use the space as your business address.

I talk on the phone a lot. Is that going to be a problem? 

No, our space operates on mutual respect. If you have a conversation that turns private, feel free to take it outside, or simply step into one of the conference rooms. If you are on your phone all day non-stop however, Coworx may not be for you.

Can I bring my dog to the office? 

Sorry, at this point we don’t allow dogs in the space. We find that cats have attitudes too, so they should stay home as well.

What should I bring to work at Coworx? 

If you sign up for one of our part-time plans (Flex Desk or Virtual Office) bring exactly what you would bring if you were going to work from a coffee shop. We will provide the furnished workspace, Internet, copier and everything else you should need. If you bring in, you should bring out. If you sign up for one of our full-time plans (Studio Desk or Private Office) you can bring all your stuff and set up shop.

Can I access the space after hours? 

In most cases, yes. Coworx is open Monday-Friday from 8AM-5:30PM. In order to access the space after hours you will need to have a key fob.

Can I stop in or should I make an appointment? 

Tours are scheduled in advance. This will ensure our availability and helps our team focus on helping you choose the right space. Kindly call us at 910-208-0286 or complete the form on our contact page.

How do I become a member? 

In most cases you can sign up directly online. Once you sign up, we will review your information and follow up to discuss the process for moving in and setting everything up. You can also contact us to schedule a personal tour. Coworx is not a good fit for everyone. Please note that we reserve the right to deny any potential members if we don’t believe your business would be a good fit for the workspace.
